The support of HDTV offers a vastly improved viewing experience and
with the continued support of SDTV, the MediaStar Evolution 780/HD IPTV
Receiver ensures the ever changing TV requirements for an organisation
can be supported through the deployment of the 780/HD units in
conjunction with the MediaStar Evolution IPTV Headend. The
780/HD IPTV Receiver delivers the benefits of the latest low bandwidth
video compression standard, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, and offers the user the
ability to drive the latest High Definition screens through both High
Definition HDMI and Analogue outputs.
It can decode both HD
and SD, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and MPEG-2 encoded network streams so that
video and audio can be viewed over an IP network.
