Built around a reliable multi-core computing engine running under
Linux, the 780/4GB is capable of delivering both live HD/SD MPEG-4
AVC/H.264 and MPEG-2 video streams and locally stored HD/SD MPEG-4
AVC/H.264 and MPEG-2 files either from the on-board memory of 4GBytes
or a locally connected USB key. In addition, the 780/4GB can show
PowerPoint presentations (converted to HTML), JPEGs, PNGs and HTMLs, as
well as show up to the minute webpages. The support of HDTV offers a vastly improved viewing experience and
with the continued support of SDTV, the MediaStar Evolution 780/4GB IPTV
Receiver ensures the ever changing TV requirements for an organization
can be supported through the deployment of the units in
conjunction with the MediaStar Evolution IPTV Headend.
