Veracity CAMSWITCH Quad 5-port network switch

CAMSWITCH Quad 5-port network switch with 4 x PoE OUT - CAMSWITCH is a four-plus-one-port 100BaseT Ethernet industrial network switch especially designed for networked video applications. Four of the ports offer Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. The fifth port on the opposite side of the case provides a convenient downstream network link for easy cable management. CAMSWITCH Quad itself is powered by 24V supply at the camera end. Wall-mountable, robust, compact and priced to compete with standard desktop switches which are less well-suited to real-world installations.
Highwire Quad has an available budget of 30 Watts, which it can allocate to POE devices according to their Power Class.
Note: PoE out capability is limited to 2 ports when using Class0 devices. Add the new OUTCLASS PoE Adaptors in this case (not included).

Veracity OUTBREAK PoE Splitter 5V DC jack

Veracity's OUTBREAK lets you upgrade network equipment such as IP cameras to be fully PoE compatible.

Simply connect OUTBREAK in line with the IP camera's network connection, and wire its DC output to the camera's power input. The camera can then connect to the network while OUTBREAK converts Power over Ethernet to the lower-voltage supply it requires.

Veracity OUTREACH Lite

OUTREACH Lite provides a simple way to double the length of a 10/100 Ethernet connection. No configuration is required, it does not require a local power supply, and it does not restrict the throughput of the network link at all.

Compact and wall-mountable, OUTREACH Lite takes its power from the network cable using the universal 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. Network connections can easily be upgraded to PoE compatibility if it is not already available using a simple injector.

Note: OUTREACH Lite is powered by PoE but does not forward it to other equipment. To extend network connections to devices that need PoE or PoE Plus, see Veracity's OUTREACH Max PoE-forwarding Ethernet extender.

The Veracity Outsource VOR-OS is a 1-port Power over Ethernet (POE) midspan suitable for injecting power into a standard Ethernet cable to power a PoE enabled device. The VOR-OS is fully IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet compliant which will deliver power to PoE enabled devices up to a maximum of 12.95W (PoE Class 0). It can also be used in high-power operation with Veracity Outreach LAN/PoE extenders to supply power over distances up to 700m.

Veracity HIGHWIRE Quad with four Power over Ethernet OUT ports

HIGHWIRE Quad 4-port with 4 x PoE OUT - This model integrates HIGHWIRE with a four-port 100BaseT network switch, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering four PoE Class 2 (6.5W) IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. HIGHWIRE Quad itself is powered by a 12V or 24V supply near the camera end, and supports all four IP cameras connections on one legacy coaxial video cable, communicating with a standard single-port HIGHWIRE at the control room end. HIGHWIRE Quad can even support 4 x mega-pixel IP cameras on one coax. Wall-mountable, robust, compact and extremely cost-effective.

HIGHWIRE Ethernet over coax device with PoE OUT (single units) - The latest addition to the HIGHWIRE range, this new model includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for powering an IP cameras via the CAT5 network cable. The HIGHWIRE is powered as normal (usually from the legacy analog camera PSU), and then the PoE output runs the IP camera, making installation easy. 100% compatible with all HIGHWIRE versions.

This Highwire with PoE out can automatically enable up to 6.5 Watts of power (IEEE Class 1 or 2) to compatible network cameras, via its Ethernet port. For applications with a camera with other power class, use the new OUTCLASS class 2 PoE adaptor.
